Thanks Tom, let me know what you find.

The details on the cases are 9mm fire proof heavy duty plywood.
4 steel spring loaded handles (recessed)
    2 butterfly locks
    steel ball corners
    2 wheels on the back
EVA foam inside - Uncut. - So you can have it cut to suit your own specs.

Cost: $350 plus postage. I am looking into shipping some of the cases to the USA, to one of you and they can be distributed from there. Anyone willing to do this, please let me know.

Ok so the alternative for us UK peeps is as follows. I got a rough quote back from the flightcase.co.uk people. It is as follow:

    Hi Tom,
I need detailed dimensions of the Octocopter to give an accurate quote.
Budget prices based on the Octocopter case we did recently are.
    Octocopter case – 1025 mm x 1025 mm x 260 mm – £ 375.
    Camera mount case – 445 mm x 365 mm x 400 mm – £ 125.
Prices exclude packing, carriage and vat.
If your copter is significantly different we are best with the copter here to program the router to cut the foam insert accurately.
We normally work out the size of the case and make the outer. By arrangement you would then bring the copter and we would program and rout the foam the same day so that you could take the case away with you.
    Regards
    Bob
Anyway will this help :p I am keen as I need a flight case for the old girl badly :p

So I got a good cost on the foam being cut to suit. I really need a drawing of how the foam will be cut. I am not capable of drawing something like this up. If someone can do this please let me know.

    Thanks
    Sam

Hi Tom I'm wondering how you are going with the drawing if you have had a chance to look at it. If you need anything specific please let me know.

Sorry guys this never went ahead unfortunately, there wasn't enough interest and was hard for me to justify with most of you on the other side of the world and expensive freight.
