Hi there. We have been asked to do aerials for a corporate client in Turkey and wondered if anyone knew what the rules and regulations were in terms of commercially flying a UAV for film & photography. Is it like the UK where you need a B-NUCS, is it like the US where it's undecided or are there no rules regarding flying commercially?
Also has anyone had experience travelling with lipo batteries on airlines from the UK to rest of Europe?
    Any help much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Katya

There are no rules here regarding UAVs for filming.

    Hi Katya.
Last autumn I went to Greece for work with two of my multirotors.
As for flying filming, regulations was said to be the same in whole Eurupe. Same for the insuranse I got at Interhanover.
Traveling with lipos, I brought 8 5000Mah lipos without any problems.
As allways, just behave polite and with responsible appearanse and I dont think you will have any problems.
    Regards from Sweden.
    /Janne

Thanks very much Janne for your advice and Ozkan too, where are you in Turkey? If we make it over on the job maybe we can have a mini multirotor get together:)

    Hi Ozkan
Due to flights and time frame etc it might be that we have to recommend a more local outfit for the corporate film in Bodrum and I wandered if you flew or knew of any companies I might pass onto the producer. Need to be able to fly with 5D.
    Thanks
    Katya
