2s packs fully charged are 8.4 volts. These servos are rated to 5-6v. I'm using a Castle bec to 5v that works great with 3 Freefly servos. Cheers, Jeff
Hey guys, I am new to the whole wiring and electronics thing. I just purchased a 360 Gimbal (without Radian) and am trying to figure out how to wire it all together. Correct me if I am wrong here, I have an 11.1V battery running to a Castle BEC, which then runs to the AR8000 receiver. From the receiver I have my servo wires running to each servo. The only power that the servos are getting is coming from the AR8000. There are no other wires or connections. Does this make sense? Also, does anyone have a wiring diagram for a typical setup of a 360 Gimbal?
Newbie, You did it right. Lipo -> Bec -> Receiver -> Servos. The diagram is pretty straightforward, connect each servo to a channel on the AR800 and adjust the radio. You will probably want to add some exponential to make the movement smother, also you will need some servo extensions and make sure to leave some "loose" wire so the gimbal can move freely without pulling the servo wires. If you need a more detailed explanation please say and I'll draw something here. Good luck
