I have a problem with my tilt radian. I just got my radians and installed them this weekend but my tilt radian goes bananas when I power up. I tried everything setting back to default loading new firmware, tryed with a different transistor, turned slew of in th software and disconnecting everything but just the power to the tilt radian ( which is a bec providing 5v) but when I connect the servo it goes bananas and tilt the camera up. In the software all looks good.

I'll try switching the tilt radian to the pan tonight and see what results I get but I'm starting to think my tilt radian is defect.

Appreciate all help I can get!

Does it tilt the camera up and stay there? Or keep rotating?

I just did the old switch arroyo and it seams like its the tilt servo causing the problem!! I switched the roll for the tilt and still having the same problem so it has to be the servo. The old tilt radian is working now as the roll radian.
This is very strange because they were working fine until I put the radians on. I checked the BEC before I connected everything and it's giving me 4,99 V so there is no way it could have got any over voltage! The strange thing is that it works but not as it's meant to work!! This is a big problem because I have a big job on Thursday-Sunday!!

Gustav, Can you plug the servo into just a normal RX to see what happens?

Can you also confirm that the resistor is plugged in FIRMLY into the servo external lead?

    Thanks!

    Tabb.

I took it of last night just to inspect it and with no power and just moving it by hand there is a fair amount of resistance. Then I plugged it to my gr24 and mx20 and it was doing ok for a short while then it went dead and stayed dead!! The resistor was firmly in place and I tried with two other! So now I dont have a tiltservo and I have a important job tomorrow! Right now I don't care if it's a warranty I just need that servo and ive been in contact with my dealer here in Sweden. They are trying to solve the problem!

Have you tried contacting Andreas @ mikrokopter.nu? He's been very helpful to me.

    Hannes

PS I had a faulty roll servo last week and switched it with pan servo and operated without pan in gimbal.
Used copter for pan, not as handy, but enbled me to do the job.

Just to get an end to this story. It was a bad servo creating the problem. I was in contact with Andreas and the guys at mikrokopter.nu in Sweden and they send me a new servo express and I got it this morning and right now I'm at. The hotel preparing for the job tomorrow!!

Thank you for your help and big thanx to the Swedish dealer!!
