I have my radian on a 2 axis gimbal and i only run solo operation. I have connected BEC power to port 1 on roll and on to Port 1 on Tilt. On the tilt (port 1) i have Pwm input from MK FC on a switch to be able to adjust tilt angle. I have no mode sw, so i guess it is always enabled in slew and stabilize? It is working great but sometimes my tilt goes wandering of without me doing any input, it is often when i forget to put the sw back in "middle" mode and leave it in the position where i want the gimbal to level out. Is it so that after a period of time of no movement but with slew input the radians goes to some default state, and this is what i´m seeing?
Peter you didn't say what radio setup you are using. I ran out of switches on my MX-20 and put the mode on a rotary switch. Works fine. All the way counterclockwise is off, middle is mode 1, clockwise to the right is mode 2.
Hi Peter: You might want to connect up the Radian software to the tilt sensor, click Connect and Read, just so you can double check what the Mode is defaulting to -- and whether it's happily staying in that default or twitching into some other mode. Can you also confirm that you've updated to firmware 1.03 as it fixes some known issues with jitter on PWM signals? Thanks Andy
And how can i force it to be i a certain mode without modecontrol? I bought my radians from kopterworx one week ago, maybe they are updated......how can i check wich version i have?
