Gracias. Hay una señora en mi oficina que es de México, por lo que en caso necesario pueda ayudar a traducir si se escribe un mensaje en español. Por supuesto, la primera técnica consiste en utilizar Google Translate (que he usado para este mensaje). -- Thank you. There is a lady in my office who is from Mexico, so if necessary she can help translate if you write a message in Spanish. Of course, the first technique is to use Google translate (which I used for this message). Saludos Andy
Hello, sorry for the Google translation. I have the RTF Cinestar 8 and just bought the Radian stabilizers for 3 axis Gimbal. My question is: How do I install the stabilizers. I have to buy something extra or simply install without disconnecting anything. The videos are not very clear about it.
Hi Alberto: Have you received a copy of the documentation that describes the installation procedure? You can find that document at the first link on this page: http://freeflysystems.com/products/freefly-radian.php I hope this helps you. Thanks Andy.
Andy, thanks for the prompt reply. The way the stabilizers are connected I have it clear, I have no very clear is what to do with the parts that are already installed in my 3 Axis Gimbal as the controller card and if necessary purchase the CIRCUIT BATTERY ELIMINATOR (BEC)
Hi Alberto: If you were originally using the Mikrokopter Flight Control board for camera stabilization, then you can remove it. It is no longer required. You need to remove the potentiometer assembly for the roll axis. You do not need that potentiometer at all. You have a choice for the potentiometer for the tilt axis, either keep it (even though it is not used), or replace it with this: http://www.quadrocopter.com/Dual-Bearing-Tilt-Mount_p_706.html You must not connect the Radian sensors to more the 6 volts. What I have done is use a 3S 1200 mAh LiPo connected to a BEC to provide 5 volts for the Radian sensors and the servos. Each servo can require 1.5 Amps. That is why you need a BEC. Please let me know if this answers your questions. Andy.
I think it's a little bit too much, Alberto. You do not need 20 Amps. This is more appropriate: http://www.dpcav.com/xcart/5VDC-5A-Voltage-Regulator-BEC-Switch-Mode-Type.html You really only need about 5 Amps. Andy.
Andy, I can get easier the 20 amps BEC in Colombia than the other one. I need to install stabilizers Radian as soon as possible. I dont have enough time to buying in the USA. The question is: Can I installed the 20 amps BEC and will work ok?
I think it should be fine, Alberto. But I would order up one that is lower powered and lighter when your time permits you to do that. Andy.
De nada, Alberto. Si usted encuentra que el BEC se calienta demasiado, entonces se estará malgastando energía de la batería y eso será la señal de que usted debe reemplazarlo con una capacidad más pequeña. Andy.
Andy, I have a brand Align voltage regulator 6v output fixed. Could use this while I buy the BEC Castle? Alberto.
Hi Alberto: the problem is that the absolute maximum voltage you should put to a Radian sensor is 6 volts -- if you exceed that you will damage the Radian sensors. So please measure the voltage from the BEC before you connect it to the Radians. Thanks Andy.
This is because in Colombia it is difficult to get this kind of parts. Chinese brands are achieved and do not trust them.
Si veo un destello brillante en el cielo al sur de Portland, Oregon, sabré lo que pasó! Muy a menudo las piezas chinas son sólo vale lo que pagó por ellos! A veces puedes tener suerte. Pero no tienen tanta suerte en otras ocasiones. Andy.
