Looking for a new wireless video transmitter. I currently have an old Paralinx Arrow Plus. It's not so great to mount to the Movi Pro because of it's size. I recently burnt out the transmitter so I'm looking to upgrade to something new. Aiming for this criteria:

    -SDI in and out
    -Price less than 5k
-Mounts on the Movi nicely (attached is a photo of my current mounting situation)

    Any help is appreciated thanks!

Teradek is making offer for bolt 500 for less than 3K if SDI only and a little bit more for HDMI & SDI IN / Out

I've heard two different people I know say the teradek drops signal at times. Have you had that problem?

I just purchased a Taradek Bolt 500 with 2 receivers and so far it's perfect. The transmitter gets fairly warm so I think it's going to eat up the batteries a little more than I thought it would. I have no definitive test results yet but I'll report back soon.

Setup with painless, didn't even open up a manual or check a website, just turned the units on, plugged them in and perfect reception even when I moved one of the receivers into another room in the house and closed the door. So far so good.

Is there any way of adjust the amount of radio frequency power the transmitter is radiating? If there is, you might want to consider cranking it down to reduce the power consumption and heating effect.

    Vaxis 1200ft system is BOMB!

    SDI
    1200ft+ range
    Uncompressed 1080 signal
    $4800

They also have a $300 array panel receiver antenna that stretches the distance to over 3000ft.

Never had an issue with mine and has been rock solid.

Does anyone tried CONNEX Wireless Mini HD LINK? For a more economic approach.
    Is this any good? Thanks

I also have the ghost eye, its a good and fairly cheap option to the teradek. Considering the this device can switch the hdmi signal to sdi back and foward.

I know the full size Connex has a fan but does the Mini? I thought it had no fan so it would be quieter but I've never had one in my hands to know. But yes the full size Connex has a lot of fan noise.

No but for $1300 I consider it middle of pack for < 2000 feet transmitters.

Curious what do you mean about a bit noisy? I was looking at this device too.

Adam the full size Connex has a fan that is fairly loud but the Connex mini has no fan (that's on the transmitter side for both).

we have the connex mini for our Movi pro. So far is been fine for what we do. The range is more than enough. The only drawback is that it lacks of SDI input. on the Reds is not a problem (HDMI Out) but in the alexa mini(SDI Only) we have to cross convert the signal to HDMI. We use an smallHD 502 to do it but somehow the signal out from the alexa has to be set it up to be interlaced to be fully compatible to some monitors in the chain. Otherwise it shows signal not detected.

    greetings

    sebastian
