    Hi,

I wonder if somebody can perform a simple MoVI Pro aerial performance test. I imagine something like flying a 100m-150m straight path while accelerating to 16-18 m/s. one time sideways looking, one time front looking camera. No camera movement at all, locked positions.

With a camera package around 12lbs. like RED + Optimo + FIZ around 35mm.

Release footage without stabilization. I´d be really curious about that.

    Thanks,

    Robert

I can do this just dont have a fiz system yet. Ill add weight to the gimbal to simulate the weight though.

Yes please do Josh, been asking this since the darn Pro came out and no one has confirmed if it holds or not (freefly stated they they cant get it to break loose on Alta but w/ zero details on what does that mean, w/ 5D, Epic, GoPro, speeds, distance, etc).

Add another 1 more lbs to make it 13lbs :)

    Really appreciate it!

Sorry I haven't been able to do this yet. Holiday's got in the way. I'll try and do it tomorrow. Are you wanting 13lbs on the camera cage?

    AWESOME!!!

Yes please... 13lbs camera package (everything but gimbal)... if weighing w/ the gimbal, it would be around 17.5'ish lbs.

You don't have to put a camera on if you don't want, for testing we use either some 16,000 or 22,000Mah batteries or bottle of water balanced on the gimbal, they are about the same size/mass as a red/alexa camera package.

    Thanks and happy 2017!

Problem would be the aerodynamics... a waterbottle would probably hold a lot better than an EPIC due to the EPIC being a bunch of flat-sides... if you use a waterbottle it's going to be easier to hold. I'll put my EPIC on there with my heaviest lens (100mm Macro) and see what it weighs... then I'll just start adding things to make it heavier.

I'll film the test with a GoPro and on the EPIC.
