Hi How is DJI WKM working with the large XOAR props. I have heard that WKM doesn't like big props... /Johan
Hey Johan, We have not had any problems with large Props on a WKM. Infact we quite like the large props...we get good 20mins plus without load, 16mins carrying a 5D with 16-35 F2.8L lens and almost 10mins carrying an Epic with a 24 F1.4L I think it could be the firmware, i know previously the WKMs didnt quite like large props. We are on firmware 5.06 now. 5.08 gave us problems so we rolled back.
cs8 powered by axi2814, controlled by arducopter, 12" apc tried dji wookong, but it was really hard to control..

Not a full picture of the bird, but... Remote DSLR Zoom controller. Prototype #1. Prototype #2 will have some kind of travel limit for the servo, probably tomorrow...
Ziv! CS12??? That thing is nuts! What are your flight times on that? What will it lift? Any other detailed pictures? Very cool! Josh
Thanks Josh here is a quick first test i did, Im still working on getting best results, i also replaced the lower props for smaller ones / higher pitch cos of the dead air from the top props... the flight time should give with 2 5s and NEX7 ~35 minutes (i'd be happy with good 25..) and RED for ~8-10 minutes... the nice thing about it, it will be less stress on the BLs, so safer with heavier payload on a hot day... Im still testing the best mixer setup.. once its ready, ill put the 360 gimbal with the new CS stab boards (next week finally!!) will keep u posted!! Cheers, Ziv. http://www.zminteractive.com
Ziv Outstanding. But you should test outside. The prop wash moved your Toyota truck. Great idea for cleaning out the garage.
Hi Gary, you are absolutely right, problem is, it was raining here! (summer in San Francisco!!) i will give it a good test this weekend.. BTW, the Toyota belongs to the neighbors so i don't care.. mine is the motorcycle and the car on the left
