    Janne,

Check out the far right column in the chart on the Akira Software Page. To run Akira, you need to be running the matching beta app for your device.
    • Android (new): 2.0
    • Android (legacy): 1.800
    • iOS (new): 2.0
    • PC: 3.30
    • Mac: 1.800
Once you have the beta app installed, you will be able to connect and configure your M5. The firmware installation sets everything to default, meaning 0/0/0 for stiffness.

I had the same problem but it was my fault. You have to download the most recent app from the beta download page.

How do I get the iOS app? I filled out my name and password over 12 hours ago and am still waiting for my app download? Has anyone else done the iOS app?

My Android is running 5.1 and connection with my Movi5 says, please make sure you are running the current version of this app.
Well, now I am downloading android 6.0.1. Is this the latest android update to run with Akira?

Paul, the new Android apps work with Android OS 4.0 or later.

When the app is open, can you touch the Freefly logo in the upper left corner and tell me what version of the app you have installed?

Just finished getting Akira up and running on our M10 and Android tablet. Weirdly I had to update the firmware twice - the first was with a Macbook, which didn't work, but after trying it again using the new tablet app, everything turned out OK.

The new app is fantastic and well designed - a massive upgrade. My favourite part so far are the little info buttons which let me know what changing a certain slider actually does - it's a fast and intuitive way to learn, and makes the "expert" menu accessible for idiots like me.

The auto tuning is fantastic, gives a good starting point for a rig. Timelapse mode seems to work well, it's always something I hoped would be added, and makes this tool even more versatile.

    Great job guys!

Weirdly the auto tune has been not so good with my M10. Way off the mark. I gave up auto tuning and have just been doing it manually from the beginning. The new filter settings are great though.

Alex: Is there anything on your M10 that could be wobbling/slightly loose? If so, whatever it is can throw off the autotune because the process oscillates the MōVI rapidly backwards and forwards (you can just barely feel it during autotune). If there's anything loose that can really fool the autotune.

I've checked that everything is tight and I can't see anything loose. When I did my first auto tune with Akira I had the following stiffness settings - tilt 70, roll 180 and pan 40. With these strings the pan motor was hardly doing anything and everything started to oscillate as soon as I gave a tilt control input. Then did a manual tune and found I had to reduce tilt to 27, reduce roll to 70 and increase pan to 98 to get effective performance without oscillations. Like I said as far as I could tell everything was tight and nothing obstructing the movement of gimbal.
