    Hi andy
Its strange, as soon as I fire up thr motors I noticed only seven were turning and it stayed like that until I gave it enough gas and just before I lifted you could see the last motor spin up and it performs perfectly.
After that I landed and it did the same thing again and thenext 2 flights there was no problems t all.
Ps.these are brand new motors. 300kv 4014 with 15 carbon prop
I have being told this is common with the s800 and not a big problem.
Mind you id rather see all 8 spin up from the start.

Hmm. Mine are QC 3328's so we might be comparing apples to oranges.
You could try swapping two motors that spin the same way and see if the fault moves with the motor. It feels more like an ESC/BL-Ctrl issue, though.

    Thanks andy.

Ill play it by ear and see how things go.
Maybe it was an issue with a motor. Ill test it out tomorrow if the weather allows..
Its supposedly summer but not in ireland,,

OK. Let me know what you find. Also supposed to be summer (well Spring technically) in Oregon but it's raining hard.
Still, you can always console yourself with a few pints of "Geniuss" (aka Guinness). Ah, to be in Ireland. Best Guinness I ever tasted. Maybe it's the Liffy water?

    Spring..
    I forgot a season.. Mmm
Well that's what happens when there all the same I guess..
Ill keep you posted with developments.
As for the Liffey water? Oh god I hope not :))
    Oh to be in Oregon..
Far away fields and all that jazz.

Oops. Liffey. I apologize to the entire population of Dublin.
Oregon's a bit short of fields. Except for Fields, Oregon. See 42.2648, -118.6751 (one of my favorite places near the Alvord Desert).
However we do have lots of Douglas-fir to make up for the lack of fields. Yes. It is hyphenated. Ask Mrs. Google. :)
And lots of micro breweries. Black Butte Porter is to be commended. "Commended" is a word I can only say when I haven't drunk Black Butte Porter, but, as our friends across the Channel would say, that's encore une histoire. ;)

    Hi Gary,
We're going to mount a 5D mk3 for stills and lower resolution video and a new Sony F55 32mm Digital Cinema camera with a wide prime lens for up to 4K higher end video work. We anticipate both cameras will be between 4-7lbs ATOW

We've decided we can't wait for the Movi and are about to press go an a machine to bridge the gap between now and when the brushless market is more mature
    Regards
    Richard

HURRAY!!!!! I finally have my ALT HOLD working on this beast! I have installed the new AH ACC Sensor and did a test flight with all default settings. The copter started to ascend but then slowed way down on the ascent. I had to lower the throttle to under 1/4 power and the copter was still in a very slow ascent but wasn't holding it's altitude. I landed and then adjusted the Hover Throttle Position from 0 (Automatic) to 110. After doing this when I flip on the AH the copter starts a very slow ascent. Once I lower the throttle stick a bit it will hit it's AH and stay there. I can then increase or decrease the throttle and the copter will ascend or descend accordingly. I am going to adjust that setting a bit more and see if I can find the correct number so I don't have to adjust the throttle at all. This makes me very happy. I have gotten good at flying without it but there have been a few times where I have wished I could use it. I am also happy now because I am pretty sure my FailSafe will work correctly. In the past I have always wondered if it goes into FailSafe will it just continue to climb even though the copter is trying to descend? Guess we will never know. I don't care to find out. ;)

That's good to hear. I'm just using the Automatic setting and no centering spring for the throttle and it works fine.
