I just noticed this picture posted on both Freefly's Facebook page and the announcement on the new prices.
The M10 shows a Full Camera Cage. Is this for the "new" M10s? Is it an additional part to purchase?

    Any ideas?

It was supposed to be a part of the M10 upgrade.

Right, but it is safe to say that a lot of things have changed today...

It would be good to get clarification if the M10 will get the Full Camera Cage as shown on the official picture. Is it being updated in any way? It seems to be lagging on upgrades even when compared to the cheaper M5.

We have an M10 and don't particularly need an extra M15 but it would be great if we can bring up to speed the M10 so that it at least has the technology and upgrades of the M5.

I have heard whispers of this being an add-on, much like the new pan knuckle

Yup, my thoughts exactly, and it's clearly on the image above. I'd love to hear more about this from Freefly.

And I just noticed the M15 on the picture above is not sitting on the standard MoVI stand but on some kind of C-Stand adapter...

I said the same from the beginning when M5 was released. M5 is more technological advanced than M10

It shouldn't... And it looks like the M10 will get all the upgrades the M5 got and the M15 will have... Which to me it's way more important than the additional weight the M15 can lift... It would be great if this could be confirmed.

For free? At freefly prices the parts for the upgrades will cost the 6k the M15 is being sold to us until the end of the month...

Let me know how much you think it will cost? My opinion is it should be free + getting a free M5 to play with our smaller cameras...
Still the price we paid for the M10 was more than M10 upgrade + a free M5 now that freefly cut the prices.
That is why I love Japanese way of negotiating. Their business plan is spread over 100 years not 5.
Never understood freefly business. They sell multirotors, gimbals and at the same time they compete with their clients with freefly cinema? Surely their equipment (at least what they build is at cost price right) At least Panavison rents cameras and lenses...they don´t sell. Well it was their choice.

It better be free... I'm freaking out over the price slash fiasco. I just bought both the M10 and M5 and feel like I got royally screwed!

Does anyone know if the pan bar of the m15 is the same length as m10?

Pam bar (horizontal bar pointing backward) is roughly 1.5" longer on the M15

Cross bar or the top handle? Both seem to be the same as M10.

    Are you reverse engineering? ;-)
