Does anyone know when the Taro is coming out and what's the price point? It looks too bad ass not to have right now!!
Was hoping that someone could give some details on the Tero? Mainly what changes have been done to the car that make it different from a stock rc car of that scale? Trying to justify the cost of it compared to a stock size rc car. The wire vibration absorbers are obvious, but what other changes have been done?
Still really hoping to get some details on the car. Is it 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive? RC cars break all the time, nothing against Freefly or the Tero, they just break. Will you tell us the brand so that we can get suspension parts, etc or will spare/repair rc car parts have to all be purchased thru Freefly? At $5grand you have a lot of mark up on what these cars normally cost. Granted you have added the entire wire dampening system, research time and probably other mods. But normally these parts can be bought fairly cheaply. Worried it could get expensive quickly. Sorry if I am being a pain about this, I have projects I can use this on very soon. Thanks.
I dont think so but. I did see a teaser for it on brainfarm facebook page https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152237536387252&set=vb.136238357251&type=2&theater
I saw it at the AUVSI show. I asked about timing and they said they were trying to get it out as soon as they could - but I did not get anything specific or even a guess. They had an M5 on it and it was certainly cool. Got to use the new Movi Controller with it too. I'm definitely anxious for the new stuff - including Synapse.
Here is a short BTS clip of the TERO. We've been testing a pre-production model earlier this week in NYC and got some pretty incredible shots. More to come soon
Tim thanks for posting the video, also on your website. What camera were you using on the Tero? Looks great.
For this scene we had a Phantom Miro on there and were shooting at 1,400fps. But we also shot with a Red Epic Dragon on there for quite a bit. Cheers! Tim
