Amazing work, you guys look like you're having lots of fun there!

Do you get much better performance with a MoVI + Steadicam + Arm&Vest rig, than just a MoVI + Arm&Vest rig? Can it be used like a walking jib?

Thank you David. MoVI + Steadicam is easier than MoVI + Arm&Vest. I can hold it more than half hour. And... very fun :)

That's interesting! I thought that the Steadicam would just make the rig heavier... But it does look like the Steadicam can be used like a mini jib! That would be very cool.

Recently we did first tests with the Porta Head 5 brushless gimbal combined with the steadicam and a custom connection bracket. The bracket allows to move the camera during the take from ground level to over head height by rolling over the gimbal 180 degrees. The steadicam gives comfortable support to carry the system for longer takes and also eliminates visible footsteps in the picture.

    Best regards,
    Andreas

That setup looks awesome! Reminds me of the big guns that Drake & Vasquez use in Aliens.

Really cool! Looks like a nice way to get movements similar to a MK-V AR-System!

Yes, you might use the same bracket but mounted the other direction on the topstage and the gimbal in overslung orientation to start in high mode with the steadicam and then turn down 180 degrees to low mode.

    Thanks,
    Andreas
