    Great information for those of you wanting to learn more about various stabilization systems (high and low bandwidth) and gimbals. Although this information relates to full size systems, it can also apply to scaled down versions.

    Somehow the word "micro copter" doesn't seem to go with these beasties -- I'm thinking more "macro copter." Interesting article though.
    I wonder what the day rate to rent some of those things is?

    Their video demo betwen 15s and 30s makes me dizzy, Waouhhhh...!!!!:eek:, what a shoot.:cool:

    The palms of my hands are still damp....holy merde.....as you say Howard that Burg Khalifa sequence. Better not try that with a Cinestar....

    I am pretty sure those shots were of Tom Cruise in the most recent Mission:Impossible film. I am really surprised because when I saw the movie in the cinema I could have sworn it was all CGI. Wow. I heard he did his own stunts, and now I'm duly impressed. Although you can see in the raw footage all the extra wires, and then in the final shots how they painted the extra safety wires out. :D
