Mega jealous Jeff!!! does anyone have a heads up on when the M15 is available (not just the M10 factory upgrade news put out today)
hey Steve - for those of us not at NAB and mega jealous, did Team Tabb advise if the figrig is being released just as an accessory to M5/10/15 existing rigs plus when is it released?
Here are a few postcards from my brief but exciting visit to NAB today, April 7, 2014. Included are photos of the new radio, Tero (the car), the MōVIRING and the new MōVI quick-release hardware. Oh, and gratuitous selfies with Gary, Denise and Tabb!
Very nice controller. Exactly what we have been needing. Please ship it with an optional laser cut foam case that can accommodate the unit fully built with space for the battery, monitor and wireless link attached. Please also allow us to plug into mains power in 230v countries without adaptors or power bricks. Where does the V Mount attach? Will it still sit on your lap with it attached? (This is really similar to the Shotover controller, thanks for paying attention).
Awesome News! Thanks a lot for making our investment upgradeable!!! A few Questions: Will the upper part of the quick release be seperately available so that we can easily change between different vehicles such as cranes, cars, etc. Any info in the upcoming FIZ in regard to pricing? Will the Movi Controller be compatible with the current Redrock system? The plugs look the same.
I'm very interested in the M10 to M15 upgrade. However, concerned that the new cage dimensions at 160mm high will no longer fit the Canon 1D C. Does anyone know if the 1D C fits into the M15?
I asked both Denise and Tabb about the Synapse, and both said the same thing. It’s basically finished, but they don’t have the bandwidth to polish it off. They are still a very small company, and the demand and success of the MōVI have consumed the company. And obviously they do not want to release a not-fully-baked product. Now for my opinion. If you care. IMHO, Freefly have seen that a majority of their MōVI customers are terrestrial users, so Synapse has taken a back seat to the gimbal business. I’m sure we’ll see it sometime. And my hope is that part of the wait is to improve the state of the art with respect to the GPS stuff, as there’s better and better electronics coming down the pike.
Yeah isn't this it right here? Or is this just QC's version of it? https://www.quadrocopter.com/CineStar-8-MK-Heavy-Lift-RTF_p_1156.html
