Hey Jason - I am just getting my Cinestar 8HL -500 length with M10/MR first rig ready for purchase mid June. I was going to go the U5/16x4.5 but now the M15 is coming out which will work better on my FS700 the U6 looks very interesting. Do you know what the max grunt and prop size a CineHL8 with 500 poles can take? I am so glad to have found your great website!!! Warm regards form Sydney Australia. Barry
Hi Barry, sent you PM. The HL airframe would be great for lifting anything pretty much... but the U5/U6 motors on an octo would be pushing the limits w/ the FS700 - U5's are good for around 25lbs AGW. Thx for the comment on our site Take care, Jason
U7 490 KV Tiger Motors and No response from Distributers and Company for Returns..The distributor based out of New Zealand and the company both refused for Returns..
Chakradhar: You already posted this story over at http://forum.freeflysystems.com/index.php?threads/new-u7-motor-tmotor.2814/page-11#post-44678 I'm confused by your posting on this thread: You say that you got no response from the Distributor, and yet you then say the response you actually did get was that they refused to permit you to return a motor? What's the story here? Was the motor faulty? Or had you had the motor for a long time before you decided to return it? Andy.
The distributor refused to take the return and I had to lodge the dispute with Paypal...but in vain...
On what basis did they refuse, Chakradhar? Did they not give a reason? I think it would be helpful for forum members to understand what happened -- just in case it's likely to happen to them. Thanks Andy.
No reasons given.. also check the link and video posted by the distributor who sold the motors to me..video speaks volumes about the product.. http://forum.freeflysystems.com/index.php?threads/new-u7-motor-tmotor.2814/page-8#post-42071
