Welcome to the forum, Jair. You might want to contact support@freeflysystems.com to ask about training classes. I attended the first one and it was extremely helpful. Andy.
Hi Everyone! My name is Roel Reine and I'm a feature film director. On all my movies I've also been the D.O.P. and camera operator. Just received my MOVI M10 and will use it with my Red Epic on my next two movies. One (Kung Fu) movie shooting in Thailand in February/March and one (Epic Historical) movie shooting in The Netherlands in June/July/August. I cannot wait doing some crazy shots with this very cool system. http://www.roelreine.com
Tom: could you start a new thread on a different part of the forum, please? eg. Electronics. This thread is for introducing yourself to forum members not specific questions. Thanks Andy.

Hi Tabb! I have had my movi for a week or so and find that this power question is one that needs solving I wonder why there is not a battery holder on the opposite side to the actual battery as that would seem logical and then have a thin power cable follow the movi cables to the camera base with a female plug arrangement…then I could power the red rock (or other) follow focus from there…it would be ideal to have a very thin hdmi cable also follow this route from the base of the camera to the handle bars preferably with male/female ends….. how difficult would it be to make a new battery holder that would hold a battery on each side rather than the one side that is the current set up…and run a power cable to the base via the routing that you already use? Cheers David

Hello, my name is Justin, I live in Moorhead Mn. I am in the middle of a CS8 build, however I am also in the middle of buying a complete set up(smoking deal) from a guy on this forum. I should get delivery of that one next week. The one I am building I will use as an extra or when I grow as a company I will run 2 crews. I am super excited to get into this line of work. I currently build high end aluminum semi trailers, but it is rather repetitive work. I think my tig welding experience might be of some use building some custom products for this industry as well. I really enjoy reading the posts on this forum and my knowledge base is expanding daily.
