Maybe something as simple as thin double-sided tape under each boom clamp would keep it from moving, specifically on the clamps to the tilt tubes. (horseshoe)
I have noticed things getting looser, especially when it gets cold. You might try putting it outside in the cold for a while, then tightening everything.

How and where did you get the new Herk board??? We are desperately waiting for this.

Thanks for the information about the Epic. We are in the process of getting things together to shoot with one.

Just sand the clamps and the carbon for more grip. tape gives more flex!

I do not have any experience with disc motors. To low Kv for me..
New Tiger Navigator series > http://www.rctigermotor.com/list.php?catid=64

Not tested yet. Still waiting on the new X-140 (RcTiger 3515 / KW10)
The previous version works very well, used it with RCtiger 2820, 13x5 props Zippy 6s 5800mAh. And still happy with it.

Here's a image of the 1mm alu backplate.

Ever since I went 6s, I vowed NEVER to go back. Running a CS6 with 14x4.7 props, tiger 400kv, castle escs and 2x 5000mah batteries. Max amps I can get is 9A per motor, everything comes down cool or barely warm after 10 min of flying, with an easy 2 min extra available if I need it. Building the CS8 now with the same gear and will do some weight tests.

As for the 6S conversion, here is a list of 6S 45C-60C / 90C-120C burst 5000mAh batteries that I found so far.
Feel free to chime in on alternatives:

    Hyperion G3 EX 6S 5000mAh (45C) - cannot find those in EU
    SLS APL 5000mAh 6S1P 22,2 V 45C/90C
    Thunder Power 5000mAh 6 Cell/6S 22.2V G6 Pro Power 65C
Revolectrix 5000mAh 6S Lipo - Diamond Label - from US

    Powersources:
    Fusion 2000W

    Chargers:
    Thunder Power 1430C 1000W 6C max
Cellpro PowerLab 8 v2 EC5 Combo 40A max, dual charging capable
FUSION L702BP PRO EMPEROR 2 DC 500W per channel 20A per output

The idea is to use a 2KW powersupply for 2x 1000W chargers, charging 4 max-C batteries in parallel at the highest C the chargers can output.
