    Hi,
I am new to the Forum and just wondering about the tolerance of the FF ESC and PDB. I am running a Cinestar 8 HL 500mm booms, T-Motor Carbon Props 15x5, 4014-9 KV400 x 8, DJI WKM, 2 x 6s 10k batteries, Custom Gimbal with BMD camera. Total flying weight apx 12.5KG. Motor temp seem fine after flights ( 10 Mins Max per set of batteries ) but outdoor temperature here is low at the moment. Whats the forums views on burning the ESC's or PDB out with these kinds of weights etc ? Tks

I think Tabb has stated a few times that these have been tested extensively on heavy lifters with a Red and other cameras...

Run it through ecalc with the ESC setting at 40amps.

Looks like with my configuration will fry the ESC's and Motors at Max Power......! Better recheck things or go shopping for new components. 40A seems way too low for ESC's according to ecalc - Anybody know whats the max ESC burst Amps for the FF ones ? Whats the Max power the PDB board can handle ? Tks

Ian I seem to remember that the PDB was tested at 300+amps. Good to look at max amps but not likely you will ever get there. Normal power seems to always be in the 10amp range for most motors. Don't know the burst amps but most ESC's seem to be 1.5x continuous for short bursts.

Can anyone tell me if the freefly power distribution board can be purchased separately?

Apologies if it has been answered somewhere in here, I did try searching....
