Forgive me, since I am not an aerial guy, but how long does it take to fly up that high? With such limited flight times with the battery it seems like a really challenging thing to time the hexa being at the right altitude when the rocket launches. Or is it easier than I think it is?
There would only be a couple of minutes leeway .... and depends on the camera package. Some flight times are out to 20 minutes with a camera a good camera on board, but I agree timing would be a challenge.
Chris to get up that height it would take two or three minutes -- battery power would be a real limitation, but depending on the copter and the weight of the payload, the copters can climb up scary fast....aka "bat out of hell" speed. But the "loiter" time would be limited as it would take a lot of power to get to that altitude... Andy.
