    Hi Guys,
Think i will answer my own question but just incase anyone had a better idea thought i'd ask!
Have my scarlet on my m10. With perfect balance on the pan axis there is not enough room on the horizontal carbon tube to fit the rear landing leg behind the vertical tube.
Obviously if i move that forward so the leg fits im going to be front heavy- i have enough room to move the side arms back to bring the whole load backwards without the camera fouling on the roll bar therefore moving the upright forwards so i can fit the landing leg.
    Sound right??

    All ideas welcome.

    Matt

Perhaps a longer tube is in order?

Hi Matt, you nailed it. You can slide the 2 side arms in a bit or go to a longer tube for the rear leg. Can you post a photo of your setup? I am surprised it will not balanace with the stock tube. Wondering what lens etc you are runnign?

    Thanks!

Hi Matt, I had the exact same problem as you.
I grabbed a longer tube off the old gimbal and put it in its place. In my case I was flying my RED Epic with the Canon EF Mount. I had that mount because I liked to use lenses with IS built in pre-Movi. So the lens I was using was the 24-105mm Canon EF lens, which has IS built in. This is obviously more nose heavy than if a prime were used.

Has anybody replaced the vertical tube to give more roll room when the Epic is mounted top down ?
