Has anyone seen this? looks like a frankenfreefly http://mymobilemms.com/OFFTHEGRIDWA...page=product_info&cPath=20_22&products_id=441
Yes, Cinestar copiecats are more than 13 a dozen theese days. Freefly has shown what is possible, respect Tabb! But in my mind the Freefly high pricing is in a way telling the copycats that there is easy money to be made here.... I dont want to be rude, but I think most small, and some large, Cinestar parts are priced a bit on the high side :-( And I do know I´m not alone here! Regards. /Janne
I compared a cinestar gimbal with a copy and couldn't tell the difference between the two besides the princing. Copy had beautifully carbon parts with cheap servos but if you replace them you are still saving quite a bit. Unfortunately because of such price difference people are opting for the copy version more and more.
DO NOT DEAL WITH ORAN at http://mymobilemms.com/OFFTHEGRIDWA. He's the worse individual to do business with and he's all the about the cash and no support and very rude. Do Not Deal with that guy. There is another Canadian (that we all know) that will soon chime in, in his defense and say he's good to deal with but it's all BS.
And if you only need one boom; http://www.quadrocopter.com/CineStar-Boom-550_p_708.html Look around a bit and that price soon feels a bit on the high side ;-)
I contacted a local carbon fiber manufacturer and they quoted me $16.95 for the same size tube. Yes, $110 seems a bit high.
