hello is this board a good board: http://www.armbgc.com/armbgc-v3-0-alexmos-controller-3-axis/ or is this better :https://viacopter.eu/multirotor-sho...s-gimbal-controller-and-imu-multicopter-store the last one is what i have ,what is different between this two board exept fore the 3 axis? i ask because i shall order on to my friend and he wantes a 3axis i myself have the last viacopter board thanks kjetil
I've also ordered the 3-axis Alexmos, though Steve you are probably in the same boat as me... as I don't think this v3.0 with 3-axis actually exists yet! Release date was supposed to be mid July, now it says early September. I've contacted them asking for a refund or to change my order with no response. Running the martinez now, but still working out the kinks. Kjetil, this looks great, really impressive work.
how does i mount this board to my gimble witch way?? http://aerialpixels.com/support/alexmos-3rd-axis-installation-guide/
or have i missed something here is it the same old 2axis sensor for all 3 axis now ?? or is the exentions board the sensor for the 3 axis?? and if it is witch way to mount it?? thanks
You use the same sensor Kjetil. The board you can mount anywhere and at any position. Just plug the sensor to the Ext. board and the ext. board to the main controller just like the picture. Bill
If you have not already purchased your controller. I recommend not buying from Armbgc, it was the worst customer service I have ever seen. Funtobuyonline on the other hand was great. Even gave advise with setup after the sale.
I received a response after about a week from armbgc, one line "your order is shipping this week." We will see. Not the most talkative bunch.
Yep I also contacted Armbgc yesterday and they said they will ship 3-axis boards this week. So good news for people who were waiting for a simple 3-axis board. I hope I'll receive mine next week.
