Hi Josh I apologize I gave you the wrong information glad you caught it, I dont have the MT3515 I have the MT2814 I have not upgraded yet to a real HL, I look, and TM does not have the short adapters for your motor, this got me thinking that another way to mount the CF props to your MT3515 is to do a modification to the adapters by continuing the tread down the shaft and shortening the shafts, of course you would want to buy a set of 8 new shafts so you have a set for your other props or simply do what you already did with spacers I am surprise that TM does not show adapters for CF props for your motors hmmm??
OK so finally got the new TM CF 14.5 Props and I got the TM short shaft mounts everything fits very good, I will do some test tomorrow and will compare them with 14.4 Xoar and will post the results
Well did 2 flights at the end of the day with the new TM 14.5 CF props and the results in my case with my set up where not too positive I did not write the actual numbers but it looks that under the same 5 minute flight, I did consume more battery, and the motors and battery where warmer vs when I use the 14.4 Xoars I did notice more lift response and more stable flight I suspect that with my setup the 13.4 would be a better prop for me to keep the temps down. I will do more test this time I will write the numbers
Thats really interesting that people are getting lower flight times with it compared to what I saw. Did your hover value change at all? Josh
Hi Josh it's because with the standard CS8 components this prop is too big it reminded me to the 14.4.7 APC SF the bottom line is the standard CS8 in warm climates should use 13.5 size props or Xoars 14.4 I will probably sell them, to expensive to keep the arrownd for now or keep them for when I go HL
HI, I'm looking to get a new set of props for my X8. Right now on on Xoar 14x6 top and bottom w/ around 6 minutes w/ loaded Epic before start bringing it down at 23volts (Quad 6S 5000Mah 65-130c). I'm thinking of getting larger props on top Xoar 15x4 & smaller 14x6 on bottom to get the efficiency up a bit but saw this thread. Maybe even trying 16x4 & 15x5 on bottom? Is anyone using the tigers on an X8 and what are your pros/cons. I'd appreciate any feed back you might have. Thanks, Jason
Hey Mario ... For a standard CS8 setup. MK electronic and QC motors ... What do you rate as the suggested prop manufacture and size for best all round performane and battery life? Xoar 14.4 seam to be most used by others? Your opinion?
Sebastian, Don't know your motors, but we have the best results (efficiƫntie/stability) so far with the wooden Xoar 14x6 on the Plettenberg Orbit 15-24 motors on 6S. There are 4 sizes very light Mejzlik carbon props on there way to me for testing, lets wait and see how they compare Also some new TM carbon props (no spoon design) Mario

Porya welcome to the forum. Would you be kind enough to change your user name to your real first name and last name, please? The reasons for this (and how to do do it) are explained here: http://forum.freeflysystems.com/index.php?threads/real-names.497/.

Mario jus t a quick glance. At about 10.2 amps the KW 15x5 vs the Xoar 15x6 seem to be almost identical at about 1630 or so grams. Will be interesting to see the TMotor prop. Is it a V2?
