hello i think this one is powerfull and can take some big cameras my pan axe is under construtions alexmos 5208 motors 5cell lipo (20,5v)
Wow, you guys are torturing me! I wish I had some time to experiment with this stuff. I'm really curious about the Alexmos boards, especially. It doesn't appear there's a good source of these in the USA, and it also appears these are up to V3. I guess I'll wait until some generous and articulate soul shares their recipe. I'm really impressed with the efforts you guys have put forward so far. There's definitely a business out there for retrofit kits for FF gimbals!
thanks bill, still have a bit tuning to do,i can hear the motor humming a bit,so i will try too reduce the power a bit the 3rd axis will be installed,i have the motor ready but not the sensor for the pan do you now where i can preorder one
There are no preorders, You just have to keep on checking the websites and see if they are in stock. Josh got one but they sold out after that. I use two controllers for now. Bill
Try this link? :http://www.armbgc.com/armbgc-v3-0-alexmos-controller-3-axis/ Flott gimbal du har der Ketil Ser ut som du kommet godt i gang med firmaet ditt også http://skydrone.no/
So, is there any sense in doing a 2-axis gimbal conversion? It looks like the real magic only happens with a 3-axis. And if I convert to the Alexmos hardware, do I still get the ability to selectively tilt the gimbal from the TX like I do with the Radians?
Nice work Kjetil ! Its a brushless summer for everybody. Common Steve your lagging behind Seriously though yes do the 3 axis and its is a smooth as butter on controlled tilts and rolls and pans from the RC input controller unlike the Radians and the notching
OK, I joined the party. Ordered an Alexmos and a couple of motors. Now, who's going to post their wiring and configuration? Anything else I need? I'm going to use my FF 2-axis gimbal.
Pardon the question guys so for each controller board you can control 2 axis so for 3 axis you need 2 boards is this right, or there is something new like a single board that does 3 axis?
Steve, do you know if that board is genuine AlexMos? I was looking at it and almost bought it but then wondered why I had not seen it elsewhere. Thanks Sam
Yes it is Sam. If you look at the simple BGC site it lists the official sellers who some have slightly different configured boards. All more or less are similar though and function with the same software.
