Hi, I buy 2 axis gimbal first and then acquired the gimbal adapter kit, I have the old pulleys, as I can do to put the Radian, in one no have holes and the other does not fit the mounting plate. Thanks
Hi Gustavo, perfectly OK to double stick tape the Radian to the old pulleys if you do not feel like upgrading! Tabb
Just a complement... 1 - Use a good double side tape and before you glue it to the pulley, clean it (the pulley) with alcool or similar to take all dirty and grease out of it. A Radian getting loose in midair is not a beautiful sight I suppose. 2 - Use a "hard" double side tape. I've tried those R/C Gyros Double Side Foam Tape but I got an unpleasant effect. If the double side tape is too soft, the Radian weight + the cables will make it shake a little, very little indeed, but enough to make the footage shaky. Remember you don't need a vibration proof tape as the Gimbal is already mounted on dampers. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck.
Oh, the tilt Radian coming loose in flight looks just fine. On the other hand the tilt Radian flapping loose and making a Canon 5D flap back and forth doesn't look fine at all. And a Cinestar pitching uncontrollably looks very, very bad. AMHIK. Andy.
