I'm looking for a nice list of reliable places you buy your cinestar stuff and other multirotor gear. Any recommendations? Country of the store and link would be appreciated.

Tyler you can check the Freefly website, click home on the forum menu line, and see a complete list of distributors worldwide.

Whitefish, Montana is really close to Canada. Looks a little like it, too.
If you're looking specifically for Freefly products themselves, Quadrocopter is your place.
As for other things (electronics, small parts, etc.) there are a lot of other places around, and probably some in Canada. And there's also HobbyKing, although some aren't big fans. I have had good luck with them, although it takes a while for things to get to me in California (from Hong Kong).

As someone who lived in Toronto ("Trana") for several years, I feel your pain, but the good news is that with NAFTA, it seems like copter-related stuff seems to move across the border without too much difficulty -- or does Canada Customs give you a hard time?

Understood. Then Quadrocopter is your best bet for Freefly and the other product lines they carry, with dpcav.com and fpvlabs.com for additional goodies. The Canada/US border is pretty friendly to "hobbyist" ;) purchases, I believe.

Don't hesitate to ask on the forum if there's something specific you need. There are several Canadian forum members who I'm sure would be willing to assist.

    Andy.

    Tyler,

If you need to stock pile some stuff in Canada before your arrival I can help. I use QC and ship to my PO box in Washington. Bringing it across has never been an issue (depends on value though). I can hold stuff here and ship to you upon your arrival so there are no unexpected border delays.

Thanks for the offer Duane. I don't have anything I need right away but I'll keep your offer in mind for the future.

I am building up a stock of wholesale MR spare parts including some for Cinestar 8 and live in Calgary, Alberta Canada.... so let me know what you need and I might be able to help you out. Otherwise if you are going to Toronto, Ontario there is a business there selling and supporting Cinestar products.
