I bought a replacement top plate and it seems the screw never goes far down enough. When balancing, if I need to slide over the bolt it gives a lot of trouble. I usually have to open the clamp (twisting to the left) then balance and clamp down. However, if I clamp down it will force the camera to slide and be off balance. Don't have this issue with the shipped plate but had to cut in half to fit certain lenses with the red. Anyone have this issue or anyone from Freefly here that can help? Maybe I got sent a bad one? Have tried multiple screws with the same issue.
