I'm looking into getting an HD downlink, between these two systems they are similarly priced, but the most glaring difference seems to be the Teradek has HDMI and SDI inputs on the transmitter and Paralinx you have to buy two separate transmitters, which makes it really expensive or you to use an HDMI to SDI converter. Anyone out there using one or the other that has a preference, range is listed as 2,000ft for both with similar long range antennas? Thanks for any input.
Hi Charlie, If you need both Hdmi and SDI in one transmitter and receiver - you can't go wrong with a Gen II bolt pro 2000 unit. http://www.teradek.com/collections/bolt#2000ftrange If you need the ultimate in lightweight and only one interface - Paralinx is your best bet: Www.paralinx.net/store
Hi Charlie, Have the Paralinx Arrow X and very happy with it. Only would like to have manual channel selection like the Triton and Bolt pro 600/2000. Some say you can get better range. Bolt pro also offer grab engine on usb3. Paralinx transmitter is 100gr lighter.
New App and firmware from Paralinx for all devices. Also manual channel selection is now possible MAc app gave some issues. Win ok http://www.paralinx.net/downloads/ Thnx Dan!!
