    Hey Everybody,

I just bought a new microkopter V3 gps board so i can get better gps coverage. In Japan best I have seen is 10 on a clear day! average is 7. poor really.

Anyway Once I installed it do I need to any updates?

compass calibration again? I cant see anything in the wiki so I will ask the mob to see.

    cheers

Jason: You shouldn't need to do any updates, but it would be best connect up with MK Tool and check the version of firmware installed and get the current list (using MK Tool). That will answer the question definitively.

As to the compass recalibration: I would do it anyway, just because you thought of it. It probably doesn't need it, but it does no harm to do it.

    Andy.

For interested persons I did a compass calibration and now seeing 14 -15 sat lock. Good upgrade. I would say after giving it a quick
Test before it starting raining that I could see an improvement in ph hold.

I just bought one for my new build, and installed it today. The price at QC has come down recently, $140 now. Working on my own bracket now, didn't want to spend $55 for that GPS bracket. Geeze, seems like a big rip off to me.
Tested: 15 Sats INSIDE = Nice
