What should be a good base to start off with? Is the 70% good or should it be less? Using a red camera
Hi Adam: There's really no "perfect" answer for that -- it all depends on the results that you get, I'm afraid. The reason there is no perfect answer is that it varies a lot depending on the mass in motion and whether there are any parts (e.g. cables etc.) that might move independently. But certainly if 70% is causing settings that induce vibration or oscillation, then try lowering it to 68% (say). As far as I can tell this lack of a "perfect" number isn't really something that FF can control -- it's more to do with physics. I personally use 50% AutoTune, but changes lenses a lot during the day. Also, I found the higher % have me lots of vibrations I had to tune out manually.
