I'm trying to locate a tech spec sheet for the Cinestar 8. I have of course been to the Freefly site, but it only contains "building manual" and "general features".

I've also tried emailing support at FreeFly Systems, no luck so far.

Anyone in here that have happended to stumble across such a document?

    Chris

The problem is that the “Cinestar 8” that Freefly sell is really only a frame set. The actually flyable Cinestar that you may be referring to is something that system integrators like Quadrocopter build and sell. So you could check their website.

And Chris be a bit more specific on what you mean by a 'tech sheet'.

Or even what specific information you might need? As you have inferred there is no "tech sheet" per se because each Cinestar is likely to be different. But fire away with your questions and we'll do the best we can to give you answers.

Here are some rough numbers for the basic setup 3 axis gimbal and 450 mm boom setup.

3.5 feet long w/o props 4.7 with 14 inch props
4S batteries with the stock motors
carries safely about 3 - 4 pound camera and glass
Average flight times are about 8 Minutes. Depends on battery and camera weight. Dual batteries can get about 10 - 12 Min but motor controller heating becomes an issue. A rough wag is 1 minute of flight for every 1000 mah of battery used. But heavier cameras expect about 45 seconds per 1000maH.

    These are some rough numbers.

You are best top contact Quadrocopter and tell them your desired specs on what you want to carry and desired use, and see if they can recommend a setup solution. It really depends on what you want to do.
