I was a little careless with stashing my Graupner mx20 in my Pelican case, and the switch that I use for AH (SW 8) snapped right off at the base. Fortunately the mechanism is still ok, so I was able to turn off AH using a little pin, but I'm wondering how I can get a replacement switch? I've had my mx20 open to remove the centering spring, and I don't think there's anything too special about the switches, and I can probably swap it with one of the unused 2-way switches for now. And truth be told, I don't use AH all that much. But I would like to repair it. Any ideas? Graupner don't seem to have that level of parts for sale on their site. Thanks!
Hello Steve, We stock these switches and have done this type of repair. Please email: riley@quadrocopter.com for more details on the repair. Greetings, Adam
Hi Adam same as Steve I broke one of the switches of my DX8 the far right top (RUDD D/R) do you have it ?
Hey Steve. After snapping one off during my "cinestar bites the hand that feeds it" incident, I purchased one from http://mikrokopter.altigator.com/ it was a bit of a trick to open the MX-20 to get to the switch. A few hidden screws behind panels etc. if you need assistance ... Drop me a message! Cheers. Sebastian
Thank you, Sebastian! I ordered one here (http://mikrokopter.altigator.com/switch-2-functions-long-p-40710.html), and once it gets here, I'll give it a go. I have reassigned the AH switch to another, unused one for now, but it's not a great spot.
Steve if you don't have a spanner wrench for the nuts I found one at http://www.espritmodel.com/jeti-transmitter-switch-tool.aspx $11 and works perfect.
