I own and have flown fly the Alta 8 for almost a year now. I am considering a job next week flying someone else's Alta 6 with their equipment and am wondering about any major differences or issues with handling and or operating vs the Alta 8. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

I have recently upgraded from the 6 to the 8. The 6 is a very capable machine. It is best if you keep it to a max weight that is a couple pounds below its max of 30lbs. It does take a bit more fine-tuning than the 8, but it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes of flying, landing, adjusting settings before you get it just right..

8 is more stable in-flight, especially in wind. Can hold same weight for longer flight times. movi pro with gear on alta 6 is limited imo
