Does anyone know the diameter of the pan cable passthru? Actually it would be good to know all of the diameters of the passthrus. Does the roll and tilt passthru have factory cables already run through them?

    Thanks

    • The cable pass through in the pan motor is 26.75mm in diameter.
    • It is the same for tilt, but there are factory cables already present (TSU cabling).
    • The roll motor has the same opening size, also with factory cabling running through. However, the front of the pass through is blocked by the carbon plate on the front of the roll beam. There is an access panel, but the system was designed around the rigidity of a complete panel.
      • While the XL can be operated without the close-out panel in place, you will lose some rigidity in the roll beam. We don't recommend that you decrease rigidity if you are running very heavy payloads or operating in rough conditions. If you are just operating on a jib/techno, it should be fine.
      • Ideally cables would pass through the pan motor, along or through the roll arm and then through the tilt bearing side to wherever it is needed on the camera cage.
