Do you need to trigger it remotely for timelapse? I've just attached a wired Timer Remote to the Movi and the camera. Many manufacturers make them for the Canon, often for less $$ than the Canon version, just use Google or Amazon to find them. The Movi will perform the Timelapse mode move at whatever interval you want, but the camera is triggered by its own timer, not by the Movi.
