    Hi.

I see the latest Movi firmware supports Graupner RC which uses PPM signal.
Has anyone tried Jeti Duplex with Movi?
Will it also work with Jeti Duplex system(DS-16) and receiver that can output PPM signal for control?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I also use the Jeti Duplex system and wanted to buy a Mövi M10.

There is a workaround to connect an Jeti duplex receiver to mövi? To control the mövi m10 with an Jeti RC TX.

Thanks for any answer from germany... ;)

    Hi Florian.

So far i have not found a solution. Freefly support themselves do not know the system..

Florian send an email to support@freeflysystems.com. Not sure anyone has worked with Jeti on the MoVI. But PPM should be PPM regardless of brand.

I got the M15 to work with my Jeti DC14 and R9 receiver.

Used a servo cable to connect the receiver to sbus port on the movi then changed the receiver type to Graupner ppm in the configurator and R9 rx to output ppm negative via sat channel.
This would probably work with any other Jeti duplex receiver that has the ppm out.

How did you determine it needed to be negative? We've just moved over to Jeti and in learning mode.

"A PPM signal can come in one of two formats; Negative Shift and Positive Shift. This defines whether the positive or negative part of the signal carries the PPM timing pulse". This is the theory, don't know what that means in real life :)

just finished our M15 setup with JETI. I decided to stay with JETI as all our MR's are on JETI. Second reason if not main: The Movi Controller has Tilt/Pan on one Stick and our Cam Operators do not like this setup.

Here are the finding and the options you can go for:

    1.
Get a PPM capable JETI Receiver, switch it to either PPM positive or negative and set channels to 12 and the timing to 30ms!
Set MoVI Receiver type to Graupner PPM, map your channels and your done.

    2.
Get the DBus FW 3.24 for Jeti Receiver (in fact ist Futaba SBus) and flash the receiver, in the settings of the receiver switch it to UDI.
Set MoVI Receiver type to SBUS, map your channels and your done.

both options do work fine. the DBus FW is only working on the R type receivers not on the new REX Types. If you own them Option 1 is what you need to go for.

PPM per spec. is running 8 CH with 20ms. If you want to use and map more then the framing has to be extended. 12 CH = 30ms (Standard with the Graupner GR24 on SUMO output)

We are using CH1-7 for the MoVI incl. Shutter and the physical Servo outputs on the R9 for CH 8-12 for connecting other PWM based Stuff by mapping PIN output to the higher channels.

Hope that clarify JETI usage on the MoVI.
